Enter subhead content here  Robert plays drums and percussion and sings lead vocals. Robert, born an “Army
Brat” at Fort Gordon, Georgia and having grown up in Troy, North Carolina, has been beating on everything that makes
noise. Robert’s dream was to be Elvis’s drummer when he grew up, so his mom and dad bought him his first
drum set when he was 14. Robert would spend hours after school every day teaching himself to play to play the
drums. Music has always helped Robert to “chill out.” He listens to everything except Rap and Bluegrass,
but his favorites are Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Rush, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Motown. By the age of 15, Robert was playing
professionally, and 2nd Chance is one of the 6 bands that he has been with during his 29-year career. Robert’s
mom has always been his biggest fan and supporter over the years and has always encouraged Robert to play his music. Robert
has also served the community as an EMT-Paramedic for 20 years in several surrounding counties and as a CPR-First Aid
instructor for the American Red Cross.
